payday is supposed to be today(5th and 20th of the month) but it is presidents day, banks are closed and no one has gotten their direct deposits and paper checks are dated for the 21st. . we would usually get paid the business day before the holiday. is there any kind of law that prohibits employers paying their employees late?

ok so try to follow me on this, i have a car that has about 17000 left to pay off, and the car its self is worth (kelly blue book 11,000) (yea my last car was added to that so thats why its 17000) so with that being said if i traded in my car for a car that was lets say 10,000 would that mean the new loan would be for $6000? assuming i got the $11,000 for the trade in and the new car was $10,000?

Hey Yahoo users,
I’ve always been highly interested in working with animals. From a young age I’ve always had numerous reptiles in the house as pets.. Always had a desirer to read up and study different species of animals. As I got older I started to volunteer at zoo’s, aquarium’s, vet clinics etc.
I had some issues in high school and ended up leaving and now I’m forced to take my GED which should allow me to get into Bermuda college which is a 2 year college.
My main questions are;
# 1 – How long does it normally take to become a veterinarian in both the USA & UK
(I’m pretty sure it takes 7-8 years in the USA)
# 2 – If I’m 19 years old can I possibly become a vet before 27 years old. (I’m turning 20 in September)
# 3 – What should I look to do after I pass my GED program? (educational/school wise)
# 4 – What are some good veterinarian school’s? I’m interested in Tuskegee.
# 5 – I’m determined to do what I need to do to accomplish my goals and dreams but I’m horrible in math. Do you have any suggestions because I know math is a major part in becoming a veterinarian and even after you become one.
# 6 – How much does veterinarian school cost roughly & how long would it take for me to pay off my loans (even though I have a law suit after I was hit by a car when I was 7 years old)
# 7 – Does it take more time to become a veterinarian in the USA or the UK? (I can study in ether locations)
# 8 – How much do veterinarians get paid starting out normally. Also if I opened my own clinic would it change how much I get paid as a veterinarian?
